In 2014, Capoeira Agora helps to raise money for charity not only through our biennial event in support of Sport Relief – we are raising money 365 days of the year – every month for a different charity.
Capoeira is a Brazilian art form, a combination of dance and martial art. It is a way of keeping fit. It is for everyone, bringing together people of all ages, from different backgrounds, speaking different languages. It is a great way of spreading awareness.
In February, our chosen charity was the Prostate Cancer UK.
the challenge
Capoeira has unique abilities of bringing people together. In February we were united in support of the Prostate Cancer UK.
Our target for February was £100 and we smashed it raising £204.19!
